Paperback Swap
I love to read. I read most anything, especially if there is nothing available in the house. At those times, I've resorted to reading Game News or some trucking magazine. If that happens at your house, you should try Paperback Swap. You can go to http://www.paperbackswap.com/ and get free books. First you join up with your email and password. Then list a book (does not have to be paperback). When someone requests your book, package it up, buy postage from the site, and mail it. Then you get to choose a book from over 4 million books. You will recieve it in the mail for free! If you list 10 books to start, you recieve 2 free book credits, good for 2 books or 1 audio. This is a good way to keep the bookshelves from overflowing and very affordable too! Paperback swap also has 2 sister sites for CDs and DVDs.
