Disgusting!!

I don't know if you can see this as I see it, but it was my former flowerbed!  It thoroughly disgusts me!!

And this is the culprit!!

You would think it is the work of a puppy, but it is not!  She is almost 9 years old!

Do you have a solution for this?

I would love to hear if you do!

Grandma Talk

A few weeks ago, my sister from Ohio came to spend a week with our mother.  So, one day some of us were together with Mom and Grandma.

How To Grill Fish

Our family has never been real big fisherman.  My hubby sometimes could catch one, and our children liked the idea of fishing, but we never caught a whole lot.  My boys even tried bow fishing and did not have much success.

This year, my hubby took the children (14, 10, and 8) and went up to Mercersburg to a fishing rodeo.  I know this was probably cheat fishing, but they caught fish!!  They had a lot of fun!

The limit was 5 and they stayed until they had 15 total.  Then a friend gave them 10 more!

The worst thing about these 25 fish is that we didn't know how to clean them!  The innernet helped us out there

The friend that gave the extra fish told us how to grill it. Here's how-

After the fish is cleaned, lay it on tinfoil.
Brush with lemon juice.
Put slices of onion on top
with some chunks of butter.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Close it up and put on grill.

I don't know how long it took to get done.  Just after 15 minutes or so, check it.  When you can flake it with a fork, it is ready to eat!

It is quite delicious!

Here are some pictures of some local fishing we did.  We went with my dad and brother.  My dad was the only one that caught one.

Lyndon didn't like tearing the worm in two!

Do you have any fish tales?

How do you make your fish?

We would love to hear!!

Grandma Talk

We were treated to a steak/pork chops on the grill recently by our grandbaby's parents.  So we took the opportunity to go visit Ardynn's great grandparents that evening.  Here are some pictures!

Four generations!
Ardynn also has a great, great grandma who lives in Myerstown.  It would be nice to have a five generation picture sometime.

Grandma Talk

It's time to show off my sweet grandbaby again. We were at their house on Sunday afternoon and gave them a special gift.

I have a goal to make a quilt for each of my grandchildren. Here is Ardynn's quilt!
I did not do the quilting on it.  Maybe someday.... Ardynn's great, great, great Aunt Evelyn Crider did the quilting.  I would have liked my grandma to quilt it but she can't do it anymore.

Here is a close-up of the middle of it.  The lighting was poor on the first picture.
It was the first time I did applique (the hearts and stars) and with a little practice, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Now, how about a video of my sweet little Ardynn?  I can hardly believe she is almost 3 months old!

Grandma Talk

My sweet little Ardynn is two months old already!  And I have the privilege of having them move two miles away from our house.  Maybe I'll have to find some excuses to stop in several times a week to squeeze her a little!

Here are some pictures of her and her chubby cheeks.

                                            She makes the funniest faces!
Don't you wish you could just squeeze her and cuddle her?
