Good Price on Marshmallows

Whispering Pines is a dent and bent store located just off Roxbury Rd or Orrstown Rd on Spring Ridge Rd.  It is a small store but has a few items with good prices.

I don't go there often, but I like their cheese and lunch meat prices.  Also the yogurt price is comparable to a really good sale at the regular grocery store.

I was out of cheese, so I made a quick stop there yesterday.  While there, I found Jet Puffed Mini Marshmallows for $.55/10.5 ounce bag.  This is the size bag you will pay at least a dollar any where else.  The large marshmallows were $1.  I do not know what the difference was.

Oh, and by the way, the cheese price is $2.65/lb for shredded mozzerella, $2.50/lb for American, and $1.75/lb for chipped ham.  I got an 8 pack of Yoplait yogurt for $2.25.

Do you shop at Whispering Pines?  What bargains do you like to get there?

I sure do shop Whispering Pines! Its less than a mile down the road from my house. I even send the kids on bikes for things!
I just dont like their hours. Mondays and Thursdays are closed, and I almost always need something those days!
I find their meats and cheeses like you say are good prices, also the flour and sugar is better than Country Pantry..
You cant forget the CANDY and drinks section. And the boxed baked goodies are cheap.

Our mom lives over that way, and it seems I usually am over there on the days she is closed!
