1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 beef bouillon cubes
4 cups water
8 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water

Brown beef, onion, salt, pepper in skillet.  Dissolve bouillon cubes in 4 cups water.  Add to the meat.  Make a paste of the cornstarch and 1 cup water.  Add gradually to meat mixture to thicken.  Serve on mashed potatoes.  Serves a family of 8.  Delicious!
